IMPROVE SALES & TRAFFIC FROM EMAIL
This retailer had the habit of sending emails to their customer base multiple times per week. With a desire to optimise this contact strategy, they set an ambition of increasing the amount of transactions and traffic to the website coming from the email sales campaign.
Patterns in historic engagement & transactional behaviour of every individual customer were automatically analysed by HUMAI's pre-developed algorithms. Resulting in a predicted lifecycle stage for each customer. The individuals that were in a transactional lifecycle stage were selected. The most relevant week, day and part of the day to send emails were predicted for every individual customer. These ready-to-buy customers received a promotional email at the time of day in the week that the likelihood of purchasing through email was the highest.
Thanks to the predicted relevant email send time per individual customer, transactions increased with an impressive 18%. Traffic to the website coming from the email campaign increased with 3%
